Privacy Policy
Encodable Industries will never share any of your personal information with anyone outside of Encodable Industries, unless required by law to do so. The only item we may be interested in sharing is your website address and screenshot, to put on our portfolio page, but we will not do that either if you'd rather we don't.
Software Delivery Policy
All software is delivered via email. During normal US business hours you will usually receive your software within a few minutes of completing your purchase. Outside of business hours, it may take a few hours or until the next business day to receive your software.
Software License & Update Policy
For our web applications like FileChucker and UserBase, the license cost is a one-time cost; there is no recurring monthly or yearly fee. You can use your licensed copy of the application forever. The license also includes free updates to newer versions for one year from the date of purchase; and after one year, updates are available at a 50% discount, which then includes another year of free updates. Software Installation Policy
When you purchase a Standard Installation Service with a "within 2 business days" timeframe, or a Rush Installation Service with a "within 24 hours" timeframe, the clock starts ticking when we receive your payment and server login information (FTP/SSH login, MySQL details, etc -- you'll receive an email stating exactly what information is required for the app you've purchased). We can't start the installation until you've sent us your server details, so the clock can't start before then.
Return Policy
Our apps come with a 30-day, money-back satisfaction guarantee: if you're not happy with it, let us know and we'll refund your purchase. Of course, in the rare case that a customer is not satisfied with one of our apps, it's usually due to a technical issue that we can solve, and we'd be happy to solve the problem for you — but if you're sure you want a refund, no problem: we'll grant it.
